Shira Evans, MS, RD, CSSD, LD is an expert sport and eating disorder dietitian.

She received a B.A. in biology, minor in nutrition science at Ithaca College. She completed the Coordinated Program in Dietetics at Framingham State University to earn an MS/RD. She is a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) specializing in sports performance based nutrition as well as treating Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), disordered eating, and eating disorders in athletes. She is the former Director of Sports Nutrition at UNC Chapel Hill and Dartmouth College, where she worked with all Olympic student-athletes.


Shira is a competitive runner, having qualified for the Boston Marathon. She enjoys cycling and has cycled across the United States twice, to support affordable housing initiatives.
